Cloning an environment onto a new Tenancy in Cloud ERP

Summary:

Following an aquisition (Purchased Company is currently using Cloud ERP) we need to

  1. move their data from existing prod environment onto a new environment under a new / different tenancy
  2. separate their data from the parent company either by purge in the new environment or by just selecting what gets migrated

Would someone be able to confirm our options?

Via an SR can Oracle create a clone (Like a P2T) but where the new environment is a new Pod under a new tenancy?

I can see the option to Migrate (Configuration > Migration) . Would that do the same job and what are the disadvantages / advantages?
