Provide edit access of document record to an employee

Summary:

Hi Team,

We have a business requirement to provide an employee with edit access to a particular document record that comes to him for approval, so he can add required dates while approving the document record.

To achieve this, we created a custom employee role and updated the privilege “Manage Person Documentation” with all values.

In the Manage Data Role and Security Profile for the created custom role, document type security profile is set to “View all document types”, and the restrict setting for that particular document type is set to “No.”

However, when attempting to edit the created document record that comes for approval, the system throws the following error: - "ER-1532625 You don't have manage access for this document record."
