How to Calculate the Depreciation for the closed period asset in oracle Fusion Fixed Assets module

Summary:

I would like to bring to your attention an issue regarding the depreciation start date for the asset created in January 2026.

Although the asset was created in January 2026, the date placed in service has been recorded as October 2025. However, the system is currently calculating depreciation beginning from January 2026.

As per the requirement, depreciation should be calculated effective October 2025. Please note that the current open period is February 2026, and the periods from October 2025 through January 2026 are already closed.

Kindly advise on the necessary steps to adjust the depreciation start date and account for the missed depreciation for the closed periods.
