Usage of profile option 'ORA_PO_USE_IMPROVED_LIFE_CYCLE_GRAPHS'

Hi, I would like to know the functionality of the profile option 'ORA_PO_USE_IMPROVED_LIFE_CYCLE_GRAPHS'. I couldn't find any documentation explaining this profile option. The description of profile option says that 'Enable display of order and schedule life cycle information as bar graphs instead of pie charts.'.

But can someone clarify where does this apply?
Does it apply in the lifecycle of PO in classic UI or redwood UI. Or is it applicable to view lifecycle of requisitions?
Also, what are the valid values to be selected to enable/disable the profile option? I put value as 'Y' at site level, however i didn;t find any changes in lifecycle view of PO in both redwood or classic UI.
