Pricing Guidelines matrix does not work with item category

Summary:

Trying to add item category as condition column in pricing guidelines matrix, but when testing on the order, I am getting An error occurred while deriving a guideline rule for the charge in the guideline xx.

However, when adding using Customer ID as described in it works fine. It also works fine with no conditions.

I tried other category classes as well, but it doesn't work for neither of them.
