HR Position Numbering is skipping numbers

Summary:

When creating a position, the numbering isn't happening sequentially. Since December 19th, HRIS has created 1500 positions, however the numbers are going in order example 1001, 1002, 1003, etc.. we started with number 107530 and as of yesterday we were at 111230. There are gaps in the number sequence. It skipped about 2200 numbers. It is happening in all the instances.

Answer: Create a position and number is automatically assigned. There are no error messages.
