How to enable the Required Assignment Notification

Hi,

we would like to enable the Notification which is sent to the Learners who are added to a Learning Item (Course or Offering), using 'Required Assignment' mode.

For now, the Learners do not receive any notification, both using 'Required Assignment' and 'Voluntary Assignment' mode.

Hoping someone ha some suggestions.
