Impact of Enabling Tax Validation in Manage Geographies

Summary:

We are facing an issue while creating a requisition in ORC, where the Primary Work Location is expected to default from the Position, Job, Template, or from the Hiring Manager’s assignment location (this is the expected behavior in RUI).

To achieve the same behavior in Redwood pages, the Oracle SR team suggested enabling the Tax Validation checkbox in Manage Geographies. 

However, we would like to understand the impact of enabling this checkbox. Could you please share your inputs on the possible impacts.
