Audit Reports Extraction for Period When Audit was not enabled

We need to extract audit details for a specific user and module for a particular period. However, the audit functionality was not enabled in the system during that time. As a result, we are unable to retrieve the required audit reports for that period.
Is there any alternative methods, backend options available to obtain required reports for that period.
