Update Employment contract information of the employees hired under 2 tier single assignment

Could someone please help me understand how to update contract information for employees hired under the 2‑Tier Single Assignment model? 
Our system has recently been moved to the 2‑Tier Single Assignment – Contract Employment model, but we are unable to update the contract details directly for existing employees. Any guidance on how to maintain or update contract information in this setup would be greatly appreciated.
