Expected Behavior When Marking Instructors as Inactive in Oracle HCM Cloud Learning Catalog

Summary:

When updating an instructor’s status from Active to Inactive in Oracle HCM Cloud (via Client Groups > Learning > Instructors under Catalog Resources), what is the expected system behavior? Specifically, after marking an instructor as Inactive, their name still appears in the Instructors Catalog, and I am able to add them to Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions. Is this the intended functionality, or should inactive instructors be excluded from the catalog and prevented from being assigned to new learning events?
