Changes to a field in Person DFF is not reflected in the setup page after Deploy Flexfied is clicked

Summary:

We are the facing the following issue in Person DFF.

  1. In the Manage Descriptive Flexfields setup page, we searched for the Person DFF and for one of the field,
  • For Default Type column (Section: Initial Default), we earlier had setup as 'Constant' and Default value as 'Yes'. Now we changed the 'Default Type' as blank so that no default value can be reported.
  • Once done we saved the record and submitted the Deploy flexfield. It compiled successfully.
  • After doing that, we again searched for the field and found that changes that we did not are not showing up and the Default Type is still shown as Constant.
