Hi Experts,

We have a design question regarding revenue recognition in Oracle Fusion Project Contracts.

In our scenario, two contract lines within the same contract are associated with the same project and task, but they use different revenue methods.

Example configuration:

Contract Line 1

Revenue Method: As Incurred

Associated Project/Task: Project A – Task 1

Contract Line 2

Revenue Method: Percent Spent

Associated Project/Task: Project A – Task 1

No billing controls or resource restrictions have been defined, so both contract lines reference the same project task and cost pool.

Our questions are:

  1. Is it recommended to have multiple contract lines with different revenue plans associated with the same project task?
