Requiring Date of Birth when Creating Work Relationship

n the Redwood Create Work Relationship  page, I’ve configured the Biographical Info section—and the Date of Birth field within it—as Required. However, I’m still able to submit the transaction without entering the DOB. The field only appears as required after I click Edit icon. Could anyone please advise on how to ensure the user is unable to proceed without providing the date of birth?

The same is true for Ethnicity. It is working for SSN.
