As part of our ongoing project to migrate from HFM to FCCS, we are currently reviewing the functional gaps and changes in the way certain processes are performed in the new platform.

One of the key points raised by the business users relates to the management of Journals through Excel using Smart View. In the current HFM environment, users make extensive use of the functionality that allows them to create, load, and manage journal entries directly from Excel. This capability is heavily embedded in their day-to-day processes and is considered a critical component of their operational workflow.
