How are the catalog contents of a topic and official community sorted in the Learning Catalog page

Summary:

Hello experts,

I'm trying to understand how catalogs or communities by topic and official communities are sorted, as seen on the new Learning Catalog page.

The sorting doesn't match the sorting on the Communities administration page.

Is there a way to sort items on both the administration page and the self-service page?

If not, could someone explain the logic behind the sorting currently used on both pages?
