Auto‑Populate Lead Currency from Creator’s User Profile in Redwood (Lead Object)

Problem Description

In Oracle CX Cloud – Redwood UI, the LeadCurrency field on the Lead Create layout does not automatically default to the currency defined in the Lead Creator’s user profile.

This is inconsistent with the Opportunity object, where currency is inherited from the user’s default profile settings out of the box.

Currently, there is no supported mechanism (Action Chains, VB bindings, REST calls, or metadata fields) that exposes the user’s preferred currency for the Lead object context.

Use Case

Sales users across different regions create Leads frequently, and each user relies on their default currency setting for accurate reporting and forecasting.
