DM: Profiles were created after data load "MSC_USE_CUSTOM_HINT","USE_SCALED_QUERIES_PARALLEL". How?

Summary:

There are two profiles that were recently created by an IT system user that loads planning inputs data using REST API in VCP.

  • "MSC_USE_CUSTOM_HINT"
    • SITE = /*+ LEADING(odata)INDEX(odata MSC_MEASURE_DATA_N2)*/
  • "USE_SCALED_QUERIES_PARALLEL"
    • SITE = [LMFOP:2,DISAGG:0, BICC:4, ALL:2]

CONFIRMATION OF THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Any new profile needs to be manually created by the user if it doesn't exist or it could be automatically added if it is part of a new release.
  2. Can a profile be automatically created when loading data to Plan Inputs?
  3. Can a profile be created using REST?
  4. How do these profile setup impacts a demand plan?
