Is it possible to implement an option for progressive saving in "Receive Expected Shipments"?

Since the transaction cannot be saved, it becomes difficult when processing large number of lines. The component is not exposed in application composer so groovy scripting is not an option. Is there a way to save draft receipts and come back to the transactions at a different time? This is in classic UI.
