Is there a way to save/persist "Marked for Release" status on sales orders in Backlog Management

Current Behavior: When a planner marks orders for release in the Backlog Analysis table (within Backlog Management), those orders are required to be immediately released to Order Management in the same session.

Desired Behavior: The planner wants the ability to mark orders for release without immediately sending them to Order Management. They need a way to:
1. Save the "Mark for Release" selection on orders

2. Continue viewing and working with those orders in subsequent searches

3. Release the marked orders to Order Management at a later time, when ready

Question: Is there a way to persist the "Marked for Release" status on orders without triggering an immediate release?
