Required Field on Employment Application is Blank

The "desired salary" field on our employment application is required. It's a drop-down and the candidate has to select it. When a particular candidate submitted the application, the field on our end is blank. How is that possible? Hoping someone from tech supporcan look into this for me. This is on top of the many technical glitches we've been experiencing for the last 2 weeks.
