Copy a Specialization with it's sections and activities

One of our content managers is trying to copy a specialization maintaining the sections and activities in the new copy. She says she has done this in the past, but know it is just copying the basic information and no sections or activities. This specialization has 51 activities

When I look in support the AI is saying it cannot copy and you have to manually load either in the UI or through HDL. So I have some questions:

1. Does copy truly only copy the basic info and not the content of the specialization?
2. Is there an easy way to extract the Specialization sections and activities from the current specialization in a format that can be easily loaded in the new one? The AI was kind of sketchy on the details.
