How do you automate turning off email notification setting in Task Manager after a clone?

I'm trying to figure out how to automate turning off email notifications in Task Manager when a clone from production is run to prevent emails being sent to users from non-production environments.

We regularly do clones of all of our environments. I have figured out how to automate turning off email notifications from EDM and ARCs, but am struggling to find the capability to automate changing the Email Notification setting in Task Manager. How can this be done in any way at all? REST calls, EPM Automate, Groovy, whatever will work.
