Is there a field that can be sent to Eightfold via API to indicate when a record has been merged?

We're currently using Eightfold to manage applications and source leads. We're sending data between systems via API. However, we're finding that when we merge records (and delete one) in Oracle, that any phase/state movement taken on the deleted record does not transfer to the remaining record in Eightfold as it does in Oracle. Eightfold needs a field from Oracle indicating when a record has been merged in order to potentially take further action to 1) merge the movement taken on the deleted/merged record to the remaining record and 2) then delete the deleted/merged record out of Eightfold.
