Reporting on Roles and Privileges

Summary:
I want to report which employees have two custom roles in OTBI.
When I report person number, name and role name column it reports out the correct data. However, when I add in Business Unit or Department or Location it reports out all employees and suggests that they have these custom roles too when they don't.
I am using SA - Security - Roles and Privileges Real Time
Has anyone experienced this issue before when adding extra columns?
