Need OTBI Role for Receivables Reports and Dashboards.

I created a custom role or the user and assigned all the required OTBI roles so they can run and download reports and dashboard data. However, when I log in with the user account and open the dashboard link, the dashboard loads but shows no data. We have a large number of users who need to run Accounts Receivable (AR) reports, but we do not want to assign full functional AR roles to all of them because it would consume a large number of licenses.
