Job Posting Notification/TCC Problem

We have a candidate import process through TCC which creates an employee candidate profile in Taleo for all active employees in our HRIS(Peoplesoft). We run a nightly candidate merge which updates any records with deltas – new positions, departments etc.  The problem we are experiencing is that for certain employees - not all - this import also reverts their job preference notification profile to an older version – which in turn generates emails for unwanted jobs.  At that point they may update their profile, which will stay in place until the next candidate import that happens to include their data.
