DFF Not Visible in Candidate Languages Section in Oracle Recruiting

Hi everyone,

We have a requirement to track additional information for candidate languages, specifically a “Language Proficiency Level” (A1, A2, B1, B2 …).

We created a Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) for this purpose on the Talent Profile - Languages section. However, we are facing the following issues:

  • The DFF is not visible in the Candidate profile under the Languages section
  • It is also not visible during the job application (apply flow)
  • The field cannot be updated through the Recruiting VBCS UI

Questions:

  • Are DFFs supported for the Languages section in Oracle Recruiting UI?
  • If not, what is the recommended approach to capture language proficiency levels for candidates?
