Completed with alert-Extract Parameter Fails When Passing ~2000 Characters as Comma-Separated Text

Summary:

In an Extract, I am passing a parameter as a text field containing comma-separated values.

• When I pass 4–5 values, the extract runs successfully.
• However, when I pass more values, and the total length of the parameter reaches around 2000 characters, the extract fails.

I suspect this might be related to a character length limit or how extract parameters handle large text inputs.

Has anyone faced a similar issue?

• Is there a documented maximum length limit for extract parameters?
• Are there any recommended workarounds (e.g., using a table, CLOB, or different parameter handling approach)?
