Enable Event Triggers in OIC for OAuth and Private Connections

Organization Name: Gemeente Rotterdam

Description (Required):
We are currently using an integration in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) that is triggered by the “Payables Invoice Created” event from Oracle Fusion Applications.

At present, this event trigger capability is limited to connections configured with Basic Authentication, which rely on public endpoints. This creates limitations in terms of both security and network architecture.

We would like to see the following supported within Oracle Integration Cloud:

  • OAuth 2.0 authenticated connections for Oracle event triggers
  • Private connections (via Connectivity Agent / private endpoints) for Oracle event triggers

Enabling OAuth and private connections for event triggers would align OIC with modern security standards and enterprise architecture practices, while improving flexibility and usability for customers.
