Require Inventory Organization Selection When Accessing Inventory Management Pages
In Oracle Fusion Cloud Inventory Management, users can access many pages without being explicitly prompted to select an Inventory Organization. This can result in unclear context, perceived data issues, and additional support effort—particularly for users who work across multiple inventory organizations.
We recommend requiring users to explicitly select an Inventory Organization when navigating to key Inventory Management pages via a prompt or validation.
Current Behavior
- Inventory Management pages may load without a clear or enforced Inventory Organization context.
- Users may not realize which organization is active, or that a different organization needs to be selected.
- Data may appear missing or inconsistent due to an unintended default organization being used.
