unable to access projects

Summary:

A user has been given security role of Project Team Member and has also been added as a team member on few projects. However, when the user tries to search for projects, the search returns no projects. The user is able to create projects and is able to search the projects created by her.
User's security role Project Team Member has been given data access to all the BUs.
User has Project Manager role also but still unable to access projects. When searching for projects, system returns no records.
