Knowledge Article: How to enable item picker in Redwood

When adding a new line to a supplier negotiation in Redwood, if Item search is not working and you aren't able to pick an item, then following one setup needs to be done

• Enable profile option  "ORA_FND_SEARCH_INITIAL_INGEST_JOB_SCHEDULE_ENABLED " 

• Opt In: Product Management > Edit Features: Items > Search Items Using the New User Interface

• Configure Item Index
  1. Navigate to Product Information Management> Product Management Experience > Configure Index > Item
  2. From Actions, select - Enable Attribute Sets
  3. Enable Purchasing application
  4. Re-build Item Index.
  5. Before trying to use item picker, verify that the attribute sets for purchasing application is in the Ready status
