Line manager unable to submit a termination for employee with direct reports

in Human Capital Management

Summary:

We are in redwood termination page (26A) and line manage is unable to terminate an employee who has direct reports. We have hidden direct reports section for line manager because that is managed by the People team.

Our observation is that when we enable the section Existing Reports, the Submit button is enabled. (or when the terminated employee does not have any direct report)

This looks like a bug. It's an optional section and manager can decide to reassign them or not. Even people team can decide to reassign now or later.

Please let me know if anyone has encountered this.
