Disable User conversion type

Summary:

We are looking for an option to disable the ‘User’ conversion rate type across all transactions, including GL Journals, AP Invoices and Payments, and AR Transactions and Receipts, so that users are unable to select this conversion type.

Since it is not possible to disable the ‘User’ rate type in the conversion rate types master, we tried a workaround using page personalization via sandbox. While we were able to restrict the ‘User’ type from the LOV in GL journals, this same approach is not working for other transactions such as AP Invoices, Payments, and AR Transactions/Receipts.

Appreciate your expertise on whether this requirement has been implemented before and if there is a consistent solution to restrict the ‘User’ conversion type across all modules
