Advanced Access Request - temporary and emergency access are often used interchangeably in practice

Hi All,

I am working on Oracle Fusion Cloud Risk Management – Advanced Access Requests (AAR) and would like to validate my understanding and clarify one scenario.

Temporary access is clear:

  • Granted for one or more days
  • Used for planned coverage or short-term support
  • Automatically removed at the end date

Emergency access is meant for:

  • Unplanned, urgent production issues
  • Usually granted to IT production support
  • Time-limited and automatically removed

My Question on Emergency Access (Temporary Access (Firecall/Firefighter)

I have learned that emergency access is time-bound, but I am unclear about how it works when multiple urgent issues occur on the same day.

Howdy, Stranger!
