Journal Approvals Rules via spreadsheet not working for Journal sources except Manual

Hi,

I created a Journal Approval rule as follows:

Approval group 1 for journal with amount below 500,000 and Approval group 2 for amount above 500,000, Journal source for both = Manual, AutoCopy and Spreadsheet, Approval routing = Group in Serial.

For all other sources no approval is required, hence approval set as Skip Approval.

But when I create a journal with source = AutoCopy/ Spreadsheet, it is not going through Approval process and shows Approval not required.

I am currently using version 26A.
Please guide me in this.
