Will there be a way to add people the to catalog admin profiles dynamically

Summary:

We need to be able to search using the catalog admin profiles with our learning specialist security groups set up as profiles since DFFs will not be supported for search.. These groups are large and change over time. if we could update them via OTBI report it would be helpful. Is there a plan to add a dynamic feature?
