How to Retrieve the Numeric Item Catalog ID and Category ID in Product Management

Summary:

While testing the AI Agent: Item Shortages Analysis Advisor, I noticed that the core shortage analysis requires both the Item Catalog ID and Category ID as input parameters.


Could subject‑matter experts please advise on how these IDs can be obtained from the Oracle application UI? Ideally, business users should be able to retrieve this information independently when using the AI agent.


In addition, are there any alternative ways to obtain the numeric Catalog ID and Category ID—for example, via setup pages or backend tables—that would be recommended or commonly used?
