Reporting on what Emails Segment Records Received

We are looking to create a segment to identify old records that are no longer being used so we can create an exit strategy for those records from our system (record cleansing process). While we were building this out, we found that there are a number of records that technically meet that criteria but have received emails in the past 1 year and even in the past 6 months. I wanted to know if there is a good way to identify and report on what emails these individual records have been receiving to determine if they can be cleared or
