How to audit any Role changes?

Summary: As part of Audit we want to Audit/track if there is any changes to the Custom roles. How can this be achieved?

We want to track if any privilege has changed in the role, who has changed, when it got changed. Any standard report or auditing tool input will be fine.

Also, when I am trying to enable the "Role" through 'Manage Audit Policies', I am not getting the 'Role' as a business object. Is something extra needed to enable this?
