We are facing an issue related to manager updates in Oracle Fusion HCM.

Scenario:

• When updating the Line Manager through Person Management (front-end), the system behaves correctly.
• However, when performing the same update through:
  • Termination flow
  • Direct Reports page

the system defaults to updating the Functional Manager instead of the Line Manager.
