Can ETC be updated for Project Forecast via Edit Forecast in Excel?

Looking to leverage the Edit Forecast in Excel function and see how forecast lines and their resources can be input, but not Quantity, ETC, etc. The documentation indicates certain limitations of the functionality but cannot find anything addressing whether you can input expected hours or costs.
