Employee Active Beyond Termination Date

Summary:

We have encountered multiple cases with a similar issue. Detailing one scenario below for reference:

  • An employee submitted resignation on 13-Feb, and as per system logic (notice period), the termination date was derived as 14-Apr.
  • On 30-Mar, an Exit SPOC manually corrected the termination date to 31-Mar.
  • On 01-Apr, another Exit SPOC performed an correct transaction on the same record but did not make any changes to the termination date.
  • Currently, the termination date is still showing as 31-Mar, however, the employee remained active in the system until 14-Apr.

Concern:

Even though the termination date reflects 31-Mar, the employee was active till l
