Line BOM Effective Date Not Working

Summary:

The Oracle CPQ help documentation states that,

By default,BOM Mapping is executed at the current time. When a BOM is stored in a quote, the effective date for BOM Mapping can be set using the “Line BOM Effective Date” field on the root BOM item line, which refers to the Model line. This effective date is used when:

• A Sales BOM extracted from a quote is validated
• A BOM instance is reconfigured

Based on this, the Line BOM Effective Date serves as the reference point for BOM during reconfiguration.

I have a SKU with an effective date range from 01-01-2024 to 01-01-2025 in the BOM table.
