Escheatment Processes with a Payment Process Profile Configuration Value of 'Electronic'

At my current client, they are asking for Escheatment Processes. The only way Escheatment processes can be achieved is using a Payment Process Profile with a processing type of 'Printed'. At my current client, we are doing Outsource Check Printing, which requires a file to be sent via SFTP to the bank - when sending via SFTP, the processing type has to be electronic. We do not want to lose escheatment processes, nor do we want to lose the ability to send the file via SFTP.

Has anyone been able to achieve Escheatment Processes with an Electronic Payment Process Profile Configuration value of 'Electronic'? or is there a way to send a payment file that has a Payment Process profile value of 'Printed' via SFTP?
