Enable matching based on the Trading Item Number in item class

Summary:

We need to prevent multiple items from sharing the same supplier item number. In the item class matching setup, only Description, Long Description, and physical attributes are available—Trading Item Number is not.

I came across a thread mentioning this might be possible (PDH: Data Quality: Matching : Use Item Cross Reference, Item Number, Description — Cloud Customer Connect). Could you please advise how to enable Trading Item Number for matching?
