HCM Extract with strange results for related data

Summary:

We're running an hcm extract for assignment data. The row data seems to be correct but related information like assignment department name always shows the current value and is not linked to the assignment effective data. We have the same behaviour for Assignment Position Code, positionId is correct for each row but the name is always the current one.
