PAY-1636319 Error: Valid Calculation Component Required for NYC Sick Absence Plan Integration
Implementing a Front-loaded Absence Accrual Plan (32 hours). The setup is designed for tracking purposes only (no financial impact/unpaid).
Configuration Details:
Absence Plan: Accrual plan, front-loaded 32 hours, 1/1/2026 start.
Eligibility: Restricted via Eligibility Profile to specific work locations (NYC).
Payroll Element: Created with Primary Classification: Absences and Secondary Classification: Sickness.
Transfer Rules: Mapped to the plan with Transfer Type: Accrual Balances.
Mapping: Element is linked in the plan’s "Entries and Balances" tab as an Accrual entry.
The Issue:
Employees are successfully enrolled and the 32-hour balance is visible in Absence Records. However, when an admin or employee attempts to Submit an Absence, the following error occurs:
