Custom Role Code with Special Characters No Longer Allowed in Security Console

Dear Experts,

I am reaching out to seek clarification on an issue we have encountered with custom role creation in Oracle Fusion HCM Security Console.

Background:
Approximately 5 months ago, a colleague successfully created a custom role using special characters in the Role Code. For example:

Role Code: ABC_ROLE & CODE_-_TEST

The role was created using '&' and '-' symbols without any issues at that time.

Current Issue:
When attempting to create a new role using the same naming convention today, the system is throwing a validation error and not allowing the role to be created with special characters such as '&' in the Role Code.
